Alien invasion scenario?

I think I would not let earth know we are there for a while and we would launch missiles all over the world but frame countries, making others think they did it. And once everyone is pissed at eachother, all countries will engage in nuclear warfare. Then as they fall apart, my army will silently kill all the major world leaders. Then the world will be corrupt, in nuclear warfare, and the government is panicking, there would be anarchy and everyone would be rioting. Then while they're at there most venerable we would reveal ourselves and pick them off easily because theyve almost destroyed themselves completely anyway.
