Flight Attendant interview did not fit in jumpseat?

I was unable to buckle the seat belt by a little. My interview was awesome. I wanted to know if I would still be considered as a FA? I am still in the middle of my weight loss and know that by the end of training I would be able to fit. Does anyone know if I'm still in the running?
