How to overcome pride?

"The people of this city are unwelcoming and seem to have no sympathy for people like me". doesn't sound like a proud man to me. truly proud men don't expect sympathy from people.true, u hv a lot of reservations but u r not that proud.u just don't want ppl to know u as a week or poor or helpless man. read yor post again and u will find u hv admitted things that really proud ppl won't admit. though, it's all my personal opinion. anyway,my suggestion is that break yorslf as u know it. the identity that u now hv is not really worth holding on to.take wht ever chances life offers u and u might find a better life and a better identity.
