I have a pair of binoculars that are antique.. i think? help.?

so, they are JC penney brand... with a black leather case with a nice blue lining. the binoculars say model 0002.. how can I tell if they are antiques or not, or what year they were made. ive tried google.. I cant find anything. :/ helllllllllllp! thanks!
